I remember we would keep Casey in our fenced back yard, which butted up against a forested area. There was one particular squirrel that would taunt Casey with it’s chattering and Casey would bark in return and show the squirrel who was boss. She was very opinionated, something I’ve noticed with our other Great Pyrenees dogs that came later.
When we moved out to the country we got our next Pyrenees and she was great with our goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, and really ran the territory.
With our 6 kids still at home, we wanted a dog that would love everyone, and help in our work with our animals.

Jasper is a purebred Black Tri Mini American Shepherd. He comes from working stock, and is completely devoted to my son, Jensen. He is fun to have around the family, and he is helpful with herding the sheep and other animals. His intensity on pleasing Jensen is amazing, and he prefers to NEVER be separated from him.
Lady is an Aussie X (sire was registered toy Aussie blue merle, dam was 1/2 Border Collie and 1/2 Blue Heeler working stock). She has a medium length coat that is VERY soft. She is smart, quick to please, and has a calmer disposition. Lady has a great herding instinct, and plays a mean game of ball and Frisbee with the boys. She has been a big help with our sheep and is a friend for our son.
Lady is 17″ tall and weighs 28 lbs.
